Reiki and Healing Touch are complementary therapies designed
to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and restore and balance energy that's
been lost because of stress, illness, grief or medical treatments such as
radiation and chemotherapy. Loss of "chi"
or energy makes us feel tired and impairs the ability of our immune system to
function properly. Both of these
therapies are gentle and non-invasive; the practitioner uses the technique of
laying on of hands to transfer universal life energy to replenish what the body
