Wigs, hats, turbans and scarves can all be found in the Wings Corner Boutique in all three Wings locations. Many are gently used, some new, and all are donated with love from patients, families and caring people throughout the community. The Memphis Knitting Guild, Memphis Sewing Guild, Millington Quilters Club, and several ladies church groups all regularly donate new turbans and knitted hats.

FormFitting: Support for Medically Underserved

Many women with breast cancer worry about how they will pay for post mastectomy care items. That’s why Wings Cancer Foundation developed a program called FormFitting to provide breast prostheses, bras and wigs at no charge to those in need.

Experts feel that the rate of recovery and quality of life for patients could be impacted by their sense of self. Women who are unable to meet the expense of post-mastectomy care items such as breast prostheses, bras and wigs can acquire them, at no charge. FormFitting can reshape and balance their body helping to maintain a positive self-image. It provides items that fit their form without revealing their loss.
