Veronica Tronolone has recently provided care for her adult son. During this process she had to leave Memphis and came to recognize and appreciate the care that she received from her friends. "Let your friends know how to help you. They want to, but may not know what you need." Drawn to landscapes, Veronica creates "ambiguous boundaries" where the land and sky, and the sea and sky dissolve into each other. She allows her paintings to emerge with little preplanning so that she can more easily express her emotional responses.
