"I began painting as a hobby in the early eighties, after rearing three children. Painting was the perfect cure for the empty nest syndrome." She began taking formal lessons in 1984 and today holds a Masters of Art Degree. She and husband Don have been married for 48 years and have lived in Memphis for the past 40 years.
