Wings Cancer Foundation grows and thrives through the generosity of our local partners who support Wings through special fundraisers and specific annual events. We are grateful for their support which has touched countless lives of cancer patients and cancer survivors today--and for many years to come.
Special community partners such as Panera Bread, Crye-Leike Germantown, and the Lisa Lassandrello 5K Run are partners in offering support for all our patients. We invite you to think about how you or your business might be able to help Wings.
Panera Bread
Panera Bread sponsors Bet Against Breast Cancer, an annual fundraiser held in September at the Memphis Zoo to benefit Wings. Panera Bread also raises money for Wings during the month of October by selling “Pink Ribbon Bagels” and "Fight Like a Girl" rings in all of their local cafes. In 2010, their efforts raised $60,000 for Wings!
Crye-Leike of Germantown
Annually since 1995, Crye-Leike Realtors and the Hank Park Trust sponsor The Sherry Park Memorial Golf Scramble. Funds raised at the event are donated to Wings and are used to fund cancer research.
Lisa Lassandrello 5K Run
This annual event, hosted by St. Agnes Academy and Grace St. Luke's Episcopal School, honor the memory of coach and teacher, Lisa Lassandrello who died from cancer. With the help of her husband, SAA Coach Jim Lassandrello, the event has grown each year, with proceeds going to Wings, St. Agnes and Grace St. Luke's.
